Are you concerned about our federal government's intrusions into our lives?A large portion of our time and money, as a society, goes into understanding and complying with government regulations. While we can give Congress the benefit of the doubt and say that they meant well when they passed all of these regulations, some of them have outlived their usefulness. Others have had unintended consequences, or may not have been necessary to begin with. I propose a law that would require Congress to review any regulation it has passed at least once every ten years. In addition to clearing out the deadwood in our laws, this would hopefully keep some of the well-meaning legilators too busy to "help" us even more.
